  • Flexibility - Economy+

    Free Flight Changes: If you change flights outside of 24 hours prior to departure time‚ you won't incur any admin or penalty fees. Please note that a fare difference may apply. If the new flight is more expensive‚ you’ll have to pay the difference‚ and if it's cheaper‚ we’ll refund the balance to your LIFT Wallet.

    Cancellation & Refunds: Cancellations made outside of 24 hours prior to departure will be refunded in full to your LIFT Wallet. These funds can be used to rebook whenever you’re ready. Please note that we don’t offer refunds to card or cash.

    Free seat selection: Once online check-in opens‚ all unselected seats will be open for selection‚ free of charge. Plus‚ there are also selected available at no additional cost during the booking process.

  • Flexibility - Premium+

    Free Flight Changes: We don’t charge any penalty or admin fees for cancellations‚ flight changes or name changes made to a Premium ticket‚ prior to departure.

    You may have to cover a difference in fare for changed flights. If the new flights are more expensive than your original journey‚ you'll need to pay the difference.

    Cancellation & Refunds: Cancellations made prior to departure will be refunded in full to your LIFT Wallet. These funds can be used to rebook whenever you’re ready. Please note that we don’t offer refunds to card or cash.

    Free seat selection: Free seat selection is available during the booking flow or during online check-in.

  • How can I change my booking?+

    Option A. If you haven’t flown either leg of your trip yet‚ you can change your booking online at lift.co.za.

    STEP 1: Visit lift.co.za and click “manage booking” on the homepage. Enter the booking reference number found on your confirmation email and your surname OR login to your customer profile on the top left-hand side of the homepage.

    STEP 2: Here‚ you’ll be able to see upcoming trips. Adjust your booking by selecting the “rebook” option and following the steps.

    STEP 3: If the new flights are more expensive than your original journey‚ you’ll need to pay the difference.

    STEP 4: If the new booking is cheaper‚ we’ll refund your LIFT Wallet with the difference.

    Option B. Drop a mail to support@lift.co.za if:

    If you’ve already taken your outbound flight and need to change your return flight.

    If you need to change name passenger details.

    If you have made a booking for more than one traveller in the same reservation and not all travellers need a flight change

    Please note that changes made within 24 hours before the departure time will incur a standard rebooking fee (as well as a possible difference in fare).

    Can I make a name change after I have booked?

    Simply drop a mail to support@lift.co.za with your request and the relevant ID documents. Changes made outside of 24 hours prior to departure time‚ won’t incur any amendment fees. Changes requested within 24 hours of departure time‚ will incur a small fee. View fees here.

  • How can I cancel my booking?+

    Option A. If you haven’t flown either leg of your trip yet‚ you can cancel your entire booking online at lift.co.za.

    STEP 1: Visit lift.co.za and click “manage booking” on the homepage. Enter the booking reference number found on your confirmation email‚ and your surname OR login to your customer profile on the top left-hand side of the homepage.

    STEP 2: Here‚ you’ll be able to see upcoming trips. Select “CANCEL BOOKING”.

    Option B. Drop a mail to support@lift.co.za if:

    If you’ve already taken your outbound flight and need to cancel your return flight.

    Where more than one traveller in the same reservation is booked and only one of the travellers need to be cancelled..

    We’ll credit the value of the cancelled flights to your LIFT Wallet. Please note that changes made within 24 hours of departure time will incur a standard cancellation fee.
